What STOBE Is For

STOBE is built for Kenshi players who want AI characters to feel more present in the world instead of behaving like isolated chatbot windows.

• Bring AI dialogue and voice into Kenshi scenes.
• Use DwemerDistro-backed large language models, text-to-speech, and other services with a Kenshi-focused setup flow.
• Tune behavior per character or per profile instead of using one rigid global setup.
• Push STOBE toward heavier roleplay, narrator-driven scenes, or harsher world simulation depending on your preferred style.

Agentic Characters

STOBE is meant to make Kenshi characters feel more active and less scripted. The goal is not just one special companion talking back to you, but a broader AI layer that can support squads, scenes, and ongoing interaction.

That includes more dynamic reactions, stronger scene presence, and more room for personality instead of purely static dialogue loops.

Narrator And World Tone

STOBE is designed to support a stronger narrative layer than base Kenshi. Narrator support and roleplay-heavy prompting help scenes feel harsher, stranger, and more reactive to the world around you.

This gives you a route into more story-like play without losing Kenshi's rougher sandbox tone.

Shared DwemerDistro Stack

STOBE uses the same DwemerDistro backbone as the rest of Dwemer Dynamics. That means the same general model, voice, and service setup ideas carry over here, but the runtime and guide flow are aimed at Kenshi.

If you already understand the DwemerDistro workflow from other Dwemer Dynamics projects, STOBE will feel familiar.

Configuration Depth

STOBE is not locked to one service combination. You can choose different providers, tune settings, and move between simpler and heavier setups depending on your hardware and patience.

A simple OpenRouter-first setup is the easiest way in, but the site now uses the same broader page structure as STOBE grows.

Recommended Start

For most users, the right path is still:

• Install DwemerDistro.
• Use OpenRouter first.
• Set up the required Kenshi-side mods.
• Get base conversations working before you expand into deeper tuning.
